ORGANISATION ISSUES

Buses and public transportation

Public Transport in The Hague is convenient and easy to use. We advise you to contact the concierge of the hotel you are staying at to find out the best way to reach the World Forum by public transport.

Your HTM Card will serve as Special Public Transport Conference Ticket and is valid when shown together with your THIMUN ID badge on any HTM bus or tram in The Hague, Scheveningen and Kijkduin from Monday 27th January 2020 up to and including Friday 31st January 2020.

Please note that for schools staying in hotels in Scheveningen or the City Centre additional trams (clearly marked THIMUN CONGRES) will ride between the Noorderstrand and City Centre to the World Forum between 8.00 and 9.00 am and between 17.00 and 18.00 pm (not on Wednesday afternoon). If a tram/bus is fully occupied please have your students wait for the next tram/bus which will follow asap.

Badges

Take great care of your THIMUN badge. If you do not have a badge, you will not be allowed into meetings or the General Assembly. A new badge can only be applied for at the Information Desk by a MUN-Director on behalf of the delegate. The delegate must pay a fee of EUR 30.00 at the time of request. Badge changes or new badges that are requested before 10:00 can be picked up after 14:00.

Badges will not be changed when minor spelling mistakes have been made with regards to the name of the delegate.

Cloakroom

Throughout the Conference week the World Forum cloakroom in the entrance lobby is available for students and MUN-Directors to leave their coats. The World Forum charge is 1.50 Euro per item. Please note however that the Convention Centre will not accept (hand)bags or laptops. You will have to keep these with you at all times.
